I visited this beauty of a castle church back in 2018. The church is mostly known for being the place where a German monk, Martin Luther, nailed a document with 95 theses, he though would make the catholic church better. It turned out or be the beginning of the reformation, where some areas of Europe left the Chatolic Church, to start their own church, the Lutheran Church. To this day it is still being used as a regular church. It is also on the UNESCO World Heritage list. submitted by /u/Pristine-Secret5677 |
