Verona Gothic Residential Building Lobby

Approaching this space, I was immediately drawn to the interplay of form and function with a curiosity telling me I'd find something cool inside. This led me into the interior of this residential building with these classic Gothic lines. From the vantage point of an architectural student each element in the environment is more than mere structure. As I observe the interplay of light and space, I am compelled to consider the aesthetics but also the materials, the flow of movement, and the harmonious balance between utility and beauty. I loved the feel and mood with all eyes being pulled towards the warm light in the far hallway.
