Style Scouting: Vol.259 – In My Own Style

Thanks for stopping by for this week’s Style Scouting. My Sunday post where I share the random stuff that captured my attention or inspired me that I found online.

This past week around my house was busy – busy with a bulldozer and a backhoe, along with a team of workmen digging up our front yard to redo the failed septic field.

We knew it was getting old and were holding out getting it replaced as long as we could, but over the last few weeks we knew we couldn’t push it off any longer.

The company that did it was great – fast and knew exactly what they were doing. What a mess though that had to be made to get the new field in place. The good thing was we didn’t have many disruptions in the house.

Only a few hours each day with no water or toilet flushing and the internet connection to the house was severed, not when they were digging, but when they were smoothing all the dirt as they were finishing up.
